Y5/6 Trip to Flamingo Land Zoo

On Monday 10th February, Classes 5 & 6 visited Flamingo Land Zoo to enrich their learning and understanding of The Rainforest. They took part in workshops run by zoo staff where they were able to hold insects and reptiles such as cockroaches, corn snakes and a type of hedgehog. A tour of the zoo included an encounter with the lemurs, where some of our teachers and children had very close views of the lemurs! The groups also visited the White Rhino’s where they were able go into the Rhino house. An amazing experience for everyone who went.
