Dinner Menu and Payment

At Tockwith Primary Academy we strive to provide our children with a healthy, delicious meal each day. Our catering staff work with us to ensure a choice of dishes each day to include a hot meal and a vegetarian option. Parents/carers should pre order their child’s meal for the day using the Appetite system.  Pre orders can be made for the day, week or even the whole term – we encourage parents/carers to sit with their child and review the menu decide together what their child will have for lunch – this ensures there is no confusion when it comes to lunchtime!   Please pre order meals via the Appetite system – log in details should have been emailed directly to you. Please contact the school office if you have not recieved one.

A menu is available above or a printed version from our School Office. Special menus at Christmas and other key dates.   A dairy free option is also available for children here

Paying for School Dinners

For the current cost of a school meal, please speak to the School Office. We ask that you pay for all meals in advance, where possible. Our school meals arrears policy can be found in the Policy section of the website.

You can use the online Appetite pay facility, which is avaialble via the same login you use for pre ordering meals – https://appetite.hutchisoncatering.co.uk/

Advisories

Whilst we feel that all children benefit from a freshly cooked meal at lunchtime we understand that some parents prefer to send in a packed lunch. If this is the case we ask that you provide a healthy lunch which includes a balanced variety of food groups. Sweets, chocolate and fizzy drinks are not allowed. We are a nut free school so please do not send in any products containing nuts for snacks or packed lunches.
