Y3 & Y5 Camping Experience

Before half term the children in Y3 and Y5 enjoying a camping experience on school grounds. After school on Wednesday 22nd May children in Y3 changed and settled themselves into their tents, setting up their sleeping bags and meeting their tent mates.  They then took part in evening activities, had a delicious BBQ of hot dogs and burgers for tea and finished the evening off with a campfire.  After a fairly decent night’s sleep, the children awoke to an amazing camp breakfast and then got started on the days activities.  As the tired Y3 were collected by their parents, the Y5 children got started on their adventure!  They found their tents and settled in and then started on their evening activities, BBQ and campfire. Bright eyed and bushy tailed the next morning, children went up to Boroughbridge to take part in a bell boating activity.  Much fun was had by all and many thanks to Mr G and Outdoor Wilderness Education for organising and managing the event.
