Whole School Pantomime

Yesterday the whole school travelled to the Carriageworks theatre in Leeds to watch Sleeping Beauty.  The Reception children were accompanied by their Y6 buddies and the Y1 children were with their Y5 buddies – it is so magical to see them together and looking after each other.   The older children are so good at supporting, encouraging and celebrating the younger ones.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the performance – from 6/7 to ‘It’s behind you’ to the old favourite – ghostbusters, everyone had a brilliant time.  Rich, Maggie and Elsie were wonderful onstage and their dance moves were wicked!

Many thanks to the staff, volunteers and governors who accompanied the children and a special shout out to Mrs ‘One Job’ Spence for organising the event – next time don’t press the button!
