PTFA Christmas Fair

On Friday 14th December our PTFA held their annual Christmas Fair which, as usual, was a monumental success! We had stalls selling sweets, cakes and biscuits as well as a chocolate tombola. There were game stalls where you could ‘play your cards right’, name the teddy, bowl over Father Christmas or the snowman and even a find Rudolph’s nose game!  The PTFA had an amazing raffle, with super prizes donated from companies all over the North Yorkshire area. Big thanks to Helen Candy and her choir, and also the school choir for keeping us entertained with their beautiful songs. Finally, thanks to Santa for popping in and seeing all of our children, what a magical experience that was!  The event raised a fantastic £1,005.81 so thank you to everyone who was involved in it, be it the PTFA volunteers who planned the event, parents / carers who donated cakes and biscuits or the many people we had attend the fair and spend their money on such a worthwhile cause.  We all wish you a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
