Reindeer Rush in aid of St Leonards Hospice
Today was a VERY exciting day for Tockwith Primary. We had York Mix radio join us for a Reindeer Rush event in aid of St Leonard’s Hospice. York Mix radio hosted an assembly for the children and they loved it!! The children watched a competition between teachers to see who could turn into a snowman first – with the help of a little toilet roll, I think team Goodacre and Williamson just pipped team Kilvington and Stanton to the winning post! The children then went out onto the playground to try and ‘catch Santa’. All children ran around the playground a couple of times in their reindeer antlers. What a fab event and such fun for all of the staff and children. Many thanks to parents and carers for their support and for the sponsorship money – we don’t have an exact figure yet but we have had a lot of envelopes handed in!
