Young Voices 2026

On Wednesday 28th January we were delighted to take some of our children to the Utilita Arena Sheffield for the Young Voices concert.  The children left school at 11am and travelled to the arena where they had their lunch, fueling them up for the practice.  At 2pm the principal conductor, David Lawrence, took to the stage to lead the children through the rehersal and all of the songs and dance moves they have been learning. Another packed lunch at 5pm gave the children the energy they needed for the concert which began at 7pm.   What an incredible experience, the children had an amazing time – being part of a 9000 strong children’s choir.   The concert was great and the children were so well behaved.

Many thanks to Mrs Grainger, Miss Berry and Mrs Curry for teaching the children these songs and dance moves and to Mrs Gould, Mrs Corbett and Mrs Wainwright for accompanying the children on the day.  What an experience!
