Y3/4 Greek Day!

To celebrate their Greek topic, Y3 and 4 came to school dressed in their spectacular outfits for their Greek day today. The children carried out their morning lessons and then managed to walk down to church in their tunic’s, toga’s and cloaks and practice for their Easter service before coming back to school.  The afternoon involved tasting different Greek foods, including tzatziki, olives, pitta bread and some humus.  The children learnt about archery and practiced some in class (just like Apollo) and finished the day off watching some Ancient Greeks on Horrible Histories.
