Our Year 5 pupils took to the water recently for a fantastic Bellboating adventure along the River Ure and the canal in Boroughbridge! Working together to paddle our twin-hulled boats, the children navigated the waterways beautifully while taking in some truly stunning local scenery and spotting a variety of riverside wildlife. The journey was filled with laughter as we played games on the water, sang songs to keep our paddling rhythm going, and shared friendly waves and “hellos” with all the other boaters we met along the way. It was a wonderful day of teamwork, fresh air, and community spirit—well done to all our brave paddlers!
