Y3 Robinwood Residential 2019

Our year 3 children went to Robinwood at Todmordon for their residential at the beginning of March. Parents waved fondly goodbye to their little ones whilst secretly rejoicing at the thought of 3 days peace! The group arrived for lunch then dived into the activities.  The activities over the 3 days consisted of the Alien Conspiracy, bouldering, climbing, the crate challenge. caving, archery, night line, the trapeze and who can forget the dreaded Piranha pool!!  All of this kept the children busy and occupied, with little time to be homesick!   The children showed great perseverance with some of the more challenging activities and their teamwork was amazing.  After a coach journey back home, the children were met by their parents, pleased to have them back to a strangely quiet house!

Mr Goodacre has said “The Year 3s had an amazing trip to Robinwood where they got to experience new activities and independence away from home. They all had a go at every activity and learnt so much about themselves. We will use this experience to enhance our learning. ”
