Tockwith Under 5s at School!

At the start of this half term we’ve had a new addition to the school. The village hall is undergoing construction so the toddler group no longer had anywhere to meet. We’ve been delighted to step into the gap and provide a location for them to meet.  It has been amazing to see all of the parents, toddlers and babies in school and hear their excited playing and chattering.  They even had a session in our forest school and investigated the newly renovated pond area!  Much fun was had digging in the mud and looking at all of the tadpoles we have in the pond!   The Under 5s arranged for some lambs from the Yorkshire Lamb Orphanage in Selby to come into school for their session – our Reception children were lucky enough to spend some time with them too.

If you have a pre school child, please come along – toddler groups meets in the school hall every Tuesday or term time at 9am until 11am.  We look forward to seeing you soon!
