As the summer progresses, our colony of honey bees continue to thrive in our apiary. With the first crop of honey weighing 40lbs with a takings of £111 towards new bee suits, we look forward to another possible Autumn yield. All pupils in year 4 have now had lessons in beekeeping and have observed the busy colony in action. If you know any volunteers who would like to help, please let us know. Special thanks to Mr Simmonds who has been an excellent mentor.
