Royal Wedding Comes to Tockwith

With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding coming up, we at Tockwith Primary have celebrated this in our own special way.  We started with a right Royal Lunch on Thursday with a party lunch and a spectacular wedding cake.  We then had our own Royal Wedding with some children from Reception class doing the honours of bride and groom. We finished the celebrations off with a huge Royal Wedding afternoon tea on Friday afternoon.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to donate cakes, buns and biscuits, they were certainly enjoyed by the whole of the school!  Thanks again to everyone for their donations – we raised a brilliant £76.50 which, as it is Mental Health Awareness Week and the charity supported by the Royals, is to be donated to Heads Together.
