Green Jumper Day

On Friday we helped to increase awareness & take action against climate change by asking families to turn down the heating, put on a jumper and save money. Children came to school dressed in jumpers and an item of green clothing – they donated money or food for our Harvest Festival.  The food will then be passed on to a local food bank.  We had an excellent day on Friday and raised a total of £77.75 as well as a lot of food!  The money will be donated to the Green Jumper Day charity who will use it to educate children on climate change and plant trees.
