We were delighted to invite parents, carers and grandparents to our Easter services yesterday.  Children in Reception and Key Stage 1 put on an incredible performance, reading their poems about Easter and Spring and singing some beautiful songs including Spring Chicken and the Seed Song.

Children in Key Stage 2 re told the Easter story through the eyes of significant characters present.  Year 3 told the story from the donkey’s perspective, year 4 were Peter and the Garden of Gethsemane whilst year 5 told the story from the Roman soldiers viewpoint.  Year 6 finished with the perspective of Mary.  There was some beautiful songs sang and we were delighted to see so many parents and carers join us in church.   Thank you also to the teachers and support staff to the time that they have put into the practices.

Sandwiched between the performances, we held the Easter lunch at school.  We welcomed over 100 parents, carers and siblings into school to join their children for lunch. It was delightful to see parents, carers, grandparents and siblings in the school hall with the children enjoying the Easter food.  Many thanks to Mrs Hobson and the catering team for the delicious food and service.
