Darwin Rocks – the Y5/6 Production

Tonight has been the final performance of year 5 & 6’s amazing production of ‘Darwin Rocks’.  The children have put in an enormous effort, amongst OFSTED, residential and transition week they have pulled together to create an amazing production.  We’ve travelled from a beach on Tierra Del Fuego to the Oxford University Museum, the story or Charles Darwin was told by confident, comical and charasmatic children!  We had some incredible solo songs performed by George, Alex and Abbie in Y6 – what lovely voices they have.   Many thanks to Mrs Perry and Mr White for all of their hard work and perserverence with the practices.  Thank you to the teaching assistants for the awesome displays and to the children and parents/carers for putting the time in to learn their lines and bring in some fabulous outfits!  Well done everyone.
