Y1/2 Trip to Demon Dentist

Last week year 1 and 2 had the delightful experience of travelling to the Grand Opera House York to watch Demon Dentist!  The children boarded a double decker bus (how exciting!) at Tockwith Primary and travelled to St George’s field car park in York.  They then had a lovely walk through York along the river to the Grand Opera House.  Once there the children found their seats and waited in anticipation for the show the begin.  The children were enthralled with the show and really engaged with the actors – shouting out answers to questions about sweets!

Half time brought with it a biscuit treat and a drink and then the second half started…  A few more jump scares in this half but the children were excellent and really enjoyed the show.  A lovely walk back to through York in the sun and then we were on our way home.   A fun double decker bus journey home playing eye spy finished off the day.

The behaviour was brilliant and we were so proud of the children.  Many thanks to all of the parents, governors and staff who attending the trip and helped make this possible.
