Reception & KS1 Autumn Walk

Reception and KS1 went on an Autumn walk as part of their work on the seasons. The weather couldn’t have been better and the children had a beautiful Autumnal morning. They squelched through mud and swished through the grass. The children spotted mushrooms, berries, birds making nests and spoke about the colours of Autumn. Once they had completed the walk, they were rewarded with delicious hot chocolate and cookies back at school.
After the walk, the children wrote about what they had seen and drew pictures of the birds and the flowers.
