Drop off & Collection Information

It is amazing for our children to return to school. To ensure we have had to put certain guidelines in place to ensure the safety of all of our children and staff.  Please see the following for details:

– Reception – drop off at 8.40am, collection at 3.05

At drop off at 8.40, please enter through the main black gates and file through to the KS1 playground.  Drop your child with Miss Murphy, move through to the KS2 playground and leave via the wooden gate. At collection, enter through the main black gates, collect your child from Miss Murphy in the KS1 playground and leave via the wooden gate in the KS2 playground.

– Year 1 – drop off at 8.45am, collection at 3.15

At drop off at 8.45, please enter through the main black gates and file through to the KS1 playground.  Drop your child with Miss Kilvington, move through to the KS2 playground and leave via the wooden gate. At collection, enter through the car park entrance, walk alongside the school, collect your child from Miss Kilvington in the KS1 playground and leave via the main black gates.  Please be aware of other parents arriving and follow social distancing rules.

– Year 2 – drop off at 8.45am and collection at 3.15pm

At drop off at 8.45, please enter through the main black gates move straight to the grassy area outside the school.  Leave your child with Mr Skidmore and leave through the main black gates. At collection, enter through the car park entrance, walk alongside the school to the grassy area, collect your child from Mr Skidmore from the main school entrance and leave via the main black gates.  Please be aware of other parents and follow social distancing rules.

Year 3 & 4 – drop off at 8.45am and collection at 3.15pm

At drop off, children should enter school via the right hand side of the metal gate and make their way to the far end of the playground, along the side of the playground where the teacher will meet them. Year 3 will be met by the tree and Year 4 will be met by the shed next to the allotment. Please try and send children in alone so we reduce the risk of contact. Collection – Year 3 will meet near the tree. Year 4 will meet by the shed.

Year 5 & 6 – drop off at 8.45am and collection at 3.15pm

At drop off, children should enter school via the left hand side of the metal gate and make their way to the area outside their classroom.  Please try and send children in alone so we reduce the risk of contact.  Collection – children in year 5 and 6 will keep to their side of the playground.

Please adhere to the following to ensure we can keep our children safe when arriving and leaving school:

– The sports field car park is the designated school car park – please check there for spaces before parking outside school
– Do not congregate outside school after you have dropped off your child.
– Please ensure you adhere to social distancing when walking to and from school
– Ensure you wear a mask when on school premises
