Children Helping with Snow…

As I’m sure you are all aware, the weather last week was very snowy and icy.  We were delighted to be able to stay open to our students but unfortunately on Friday we had to keep the children inside for playtime and lunchtime as the playground was too icy and slippery.

Today, as children were so keen to get their playground back, Y6 have been shovelling the snow and ice off the playground so they can get back on it to play. Other children in Y3 and Y4 saw what Y6 were doing and were quick to join in and help.

We’re so proud of our children working together for something they want.
