Road Safety in the Car

Do you Know what this means?

Unfortunately some people  don’t because we sometimes see adults parking there. This is an illegal area to park. So please do not park anywhere near those yellow zig zag lines. Other places to park are located near the sports field across the road from school or you could park in front of the school but keep away from the ZIG ZAGS.

Just a quick notice

The JRSO/ junior road safety officers have recommended walking instead of driving unless you live at least out of the village. Also The JRSOs will be outside of school making sure you DO NOT PARK ON THE ZIGZAG LINES.

To help improve our school it’s really important to make sure you park in the right areas. That’s why we have these roles to make it easy in the morning when you drop your kids off. Always Go The Easy Way .  If you follow these rules everyone will be smiling.

We try to make the rules as easy as we possibly can so you can follow them with no struggle. We know that sometimes it can be a bit of chaos on a Monday morning but please try your best.

Summary

• Don’t park on the zig zags

• There’s parking next to the sports field

• Other spaces are  in front of the school

• JRSO are watching you

So please follow our rules to ensure safety for everyone.

What we have seen

Thank you all for the amazing morning. It was very successful. 

 Unfortunately we saw someone park on the zigzags but everyone else managed to keep clear which we are very happy about.There was a bit of traffic which made it harder for people to easily come in and get out. We are also giving a massive congratulations to all of the children that walked to school. Very kindly most of you stopped to have a chat and saw our job as a very important role which we thank you greatly for.

What do we think for the future

We think you followed the rules very well and would hope to see this follow into the future. We are not going to be out on duty everyday but we still have high expectations for you to not park on the zigzag lines. We are next out around the start of next week and we have high hopes that the zigzags will be clear.
