Tockwith Primary Easter Service

On Wednesday 28th March, the whole school attended Tockwith Church and put on a magnificent Easter Service.  Our Key Stage 1 children (little chicks and flowers) sang some Spring songs including ‘Its a beautiful world’.  The Key Stage 2 children performed the play of ‘The Easter Story’, with each year group performing it from a different view. Year 3 performed the play as seen through the eyes of Judas, whilst Year 4 performed the viewpoint of the Donkey. Year 5 performed the Easter Story from the viewpoint of St Peter and the service was concluded by Year 6 performing the story through the eyes of the Roman Soldiers.

A very powerful and deep performance, with one parents commenting that it was “The best Easter Service Tockwith Primary has ever put on”

Thanks to Mr Wharfedale, Mrs McBride and the church for organising this special event.
