Pet Competition – Tia Rescue & Milhaven Guinea Pig Rescue

Three girls in our year 6 class organised a pet competition and a dress down day in support of two animal charities – Milhaven Rescue and Tia Rescue.  The pet competition had several categories and children were invited to submit a video or picture of their pets.  There was a 50p donation per entry.  We would like to say a big thank you to all of the entries – we had lots of entries or amazing pets, but unfortunately not all of them can win. Please see the attached video and presentation.  The video shows the girls launching the competition and the presentation shows all of the winners (1st to 3rd place).   The dress down day was today and we had some fantastically dressed children!  Thank you to the girls in year 6 (Bea M, Holly and Isobel) and thanks to all the children and parents for supporting such great charities. We managed to raise an AWESOME £149 so fantastic effort from everyone involved!
