All of our children in Key stage 1 wrapped up warm yesterday and ventured out into the cold for their Winter Walk. The children do the same walk each season so they can see how the environment changes. They walked through the woods and into the fields behind Southfield Lane. The children looked at the plants, trees and any birds they could see and took notes about it all. They had a magical time in all the wonderful Winter weather before coming back to school for some delicious warming soup and toast. The children then used the walk as inspiration to produce some amazingly creative pieces of artwork!
