Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 had a fantastic experience last week when a Fire Engine from North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service came onsite to visit our children. The officers read a story to the children which included the important fire safely messages.  The classes then had a discussion about fire safety and how important it is.  The children were then able to go outside and see the fire engine and ask questions.  Every child then had the opportunity to water from the hose onto the playground.  This was a fantastic opportunity for the children to see and talk to fire safety officers and see a fire engine.  Thank you so much to North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue for taking the time to visit us in Tockwith.
