Easter Egg Competition

Mrs Starr launched a ‘Design an Easter Egg’ competition last month inviting children to create an Easter egg design using pens, pencils, paints and/or collage materials. The only rule was that the design had to feature purple in some way. The prizes were Easter eggs donated by Morrison’s supermarket.  The competition was supported by the Wetherby Wombles which is a litter picking group based in Wetherby. Over 125 designs were submitted and it was a tough decision to choose the winners but there were three prizes given to children at Tockwith Primary Academy, and a further 5 runner up prizes handed out as well.  Well done to everyone who submitted a design, and to Elsie, Imogen and Amy for winning the main prizes!
