Comic Relief

On Monday 13th March we invited children to come to school dressed in sports clothing in support of Comic Relief. The teachers were given surprise fancy dress to wear for the day – I think the favourite outfits were Mr White dressed as a character from Hi De Hi (for those of us old enough to remember that TV show!) and Miss Stanton who wore a beautiful 1980’s shell suit!    Later in the day the whole school was involved in a Comic Relief assembly.  The assembly involved pitting children against teaches in a number of tasks, from playing the recorder to a hula hoop competition to questions on wildlife. Everyone had an amazing time and although the teachers tried their best, they were outsmarted by the amazing children at Tockwith Primary!

Many thanks to the school council and Mrs Poole for organising the event.  It’s not too late to donate – app.parentpay.com/ParentPayShop/Foc/Default.aspx?shopid=10540
