Tri Golf Festival

As part of the Tadcaster Sports Partnership, children in Year 4 took part in a Tri Golf Festival with children from Riverside Primary.  The children all put in a fantastic effort, especially as it was cold with wet weather conditions!   All of the children played really well and the team captains did a great job keeping their teams calm and focused.  Tockwith played especially well and came first and second the festival, with Riverside taking third and fourth place. Tockwith are now through to the final which will be held in Selby next month.

Joel, one of the team captains has said… “I play golf at home with my dad and this gave me experience for doing the tournament. I think it was a good team as there were 2 good chippers, 2 good putters and the rest were good at both”
