QE Choir Festival

On Thursday 9th May, 24 children from years 3 through to 6 went to Queen Ethelburga’s King’s Theatre to take part in the QE Choir Festival. This is an evening concert where choirs from QE and local primary schools join forces to demonstrate the skills of their singing groups. Its a celebration of music, singing and our local community. The children put on an excellent performance and were a real credit to Tockwith. Their voices carried throughout the theatre and all of the children put on a confident, powerful performance!  We would like to say thanks to Miss Hargreaves for coaching the choir and conducting them on the night.   Also, thanks to all of the parents, grandparents and carers that attended the concert and supported us throughout the practice and production!
