Yorkshire Dance Festival

Children in Year 3 have been practicing for the last few months for the Yorkshire Dance Festival.  This is an annual festival that celebrates, supports and promotes dance in primary schools, secondary schools, colleges and wider communities. Their hard work paid off as the children put on a fantastic performance in front of hundreds of parents, carers and dance fans!  The group was the youngest there but, in typical Tockwith style, smashed the performance and made us all really proud.  Huge thanks to Miss Cunningham for choreographing the routine and taking the time to teach the children every week.  Special thanks to Miss Stanton, Mrs Curry for spending the day at the Yorkshire Dance Festival and making sure the children had an awesome time and to all parents / carers for making the effort to get their children to the festival!  The children had a fantastic time and are already asking if they can do it again next year…
