Womens UEFA Euro Football

39 children and 9 adults were thrilled to be given the opportunity to go to Old Trafford stadium in Manchester to watch the England v Austria opening match of the EURO 2022 football tournament.  What an experience!  The children made it to Manchester in time for a packed lunch and to then get into their seats ready for the opening ceremony.  The atmosphere was electric with mexican waves, fireworks and such support for the lionnesses in their first match.  A win for England and the children were on their way home. Tired children arrived back at Tockwith at midnight – what a day!
