School Council visits Evans Homes

The school council had an exciting trip to visit the Evans homes construction site on Tuesday 21st June.  After being given their own hard hats and high viz jackets they school council were taken around the site with Stewart, Gary and Kevin. They showed the children the different stages of the build and talked about the different bricks needed to build it. The children were also  looking for harzards  around the site ready for the poster competition.  They were able to go into the shell of a house and see a completed one as well.  Then Martin gave them an awesome demo of the 360 excavator.  The children had a brilliant time and can’t wait to launch the competition to their classes next week.
