Football Tournament

Tockwith took part in a KS2 football tournament on Thursday 9th June. Eight teams took part from across Tadcaster and Sherburn. We won our pool beating Saxton 4-0, Appleton Roebuck 3-0 and Tadcaster 3-0. An epic final was played against Sherburn with some miraculous saves from Goalkeeper Sam and Max hitting the cross bar but it ended 0-0 and went to penalties. Unfortunately we were on the losing side but fun was had by all and they represented Tockwith brilliantly.  Many thanks to Mr Goodacre for organising the event and Mrs Corbett for allowing us to use the Tockwith Sportsfield facilities!
