Year 3 children had the chance to take part in the Yorkshire Dance Festival. Miss Cunningham held a dance after school club for children in Year 3 where they learnt some dances that they then went on to perform at the Yorkshire Dance Festival. This is an annual festival that celebrates, supports and promotes dance in primary schools, secondary schools, colleges and wider communities. Their hard work paid off as the children put on a fantastic performance in front of hundreds of parents, carers and dance fans! The group was the youngest there but, in typical Tockwith style, smashed the performance and made us all really proud. The children had a fantastic time and are already asking if they can do it again next year…
