Laps to Lapland Update

On the 1st of December we started a fundraiser in aid of Cancer Research, our aim was to reach £1,000! To do this, each day children are walking, jogging or running laps around the school playground – as many laps as they feel comfortable doing. There is approximately 2114.98 miles between Tockwith and Lapland.  The children are doing an amazing job and so far we have made it to the centre of Sweden, which is 1,350.98 miles!!   The final day of this fundraiser is on 18th December, so we only have 5 days left to complete the final few miles!

On that final day, children will be invited to wear sports clothes to school with the option of a Christmas Jumper if they would like to. Every child will be given a medal as a thank you for their taking part in this amazing challenge.
