Yorkshire Dance Festival 2021

Children in Year 4 have been practicing for the last few months for the Yorkshire Dance Festival.  This is an annual festival that celebrates, supports and promotes dance in primary schools, secondary schools, colleges and wider communities. Their hard work paid off as the children put on a fantastic performance in front of hundreds of parents, carers and dance fans!  The group was the youngest there but, in typical Tockwith style, smashed the performance and made us all really proud.  Huge thanks to Miss Kilvington for choreographing the routine and taking the time to teach the children every week.  Thanks to Miss Kilvington, Mrs Curry and all parents / carers for making the effort to get their children to the festival for 8am on the Saturday morning!  The children had a fantastic time and are already asking if they can do it again next year – Reception also want to learn the routine having watched the performance in assembly!
