Visit from York Fire Service

Our children in Year 1, 2, 3 and 4 were lucky enough to have firefighters from York Fire Service visit them yesterday. The Fire Fighters spoke to the children about fire safety in school and at home, what to do in the event of a fire and what clothing the fire fighters wear to protect them. The children were also educated on what equipment there is on a fire engine and how it is used. The children thoroughly enjoyed the event and we want to say a massive thank you to the fire fighters for coming and sharing their knowledge with us.
