Harrogate Walk to School Day

On Thursday 18th November we held a Walk to School day in conjunction with Zero Carbon Harrogate.  We encouraged children to walk, scoot or bike to school where possible. Those children that have to drive to school, we encouraged to lift share or park part way to school and walk the remainder of the journey.  The had a really successful day with over 60% of children walking to school – well done to all parents and carers for their efforts for getting children to school via foot!   Arnold Warneken interviewed some of the staff, student council members and children about the walk to school day.  The interview can be found via the following link:
