Year 4 Hockey

As part of the Tadcaster Sports Partnership, children in Year 4 took park in a Hockey competition. We entered 2 equal teams, who all showed great skills and perseverance.  The children played some fantastic games and this showed in their coming 1st and 2nd !  One of the teams will be going through to the next set of qualifiers, this time it will be the Selby District Final.  If they qualify in that, they will be through to the North Yorkshire Final! Well done to our fantastic athletes . Thank you also to the Premier League Rising Star who provided the kid for our children to wear.

In an exciting update to this, the team played in the Selby District Final this week and did brilliantly. The team showed great skill and Mrs George was really proud of their performance. The team came 4th which is an amazing result – well done!
