Our collective worship strengthens and supports the Christian identity of our school, reaffirms our vision and associated core values of Perseverance, friendship and creativity and celebrates the central role that each child has to play in their community. Our vision is rooted in the bible and encourages all children to live life in all its fullness.

Please see our collective worship Policy for more details  Collective Worship Policy – October 2021

Our children regularly hold services in church with usually over 180 children and adults joining together in an informal and energetic act of worship! These are themed on one of our Christian values. The assemblies are held as follows:

Day Key Stage Time
Monday KS2 2.45
Tuesday KS1 2.45
Wednesday Whole School 2.45
Thursday KS1 2.45
Friday Whole School 2.45

The Reverend Martin Otter is our vicar of our parish – the United Parish of Marston Moor, which includes Bilbrough, Askham Richard, Long Marston, Rufforth and Tockwith.  Revd. Otter leads our school collective worship once a week

We have services for Easter, Harvest and Christmas, the start of term and leaver’s service at the end of the academic year.
