The Reverend Martin Otter is the newly appointed vicar of our parish – the United Parish of Marston Moor, which includes Bilbrough, Askham Richard, Long Marston, Rufforth and Tockwith.  Revd. Otter leads our school collective worship once a fortnight.

Our children also organise and deliver collective worship through House Worship, a classroom based act of worship with one of our Christian values as its theme.

Our children regularly hold services in church with usually over 180 children and adults joining together in an informal and energetic act of worship! These are themed on one of our Christian values. We have services for Easter, Harvest and Christmas, the start of term and to say goodbye to Y6 at the end of the academic year.

For information on Tockwith Church please see the link to visit the church Facebook page.

Tockwith Church supports the work of St Dorcas Orphanage in Kenya and our school is contributing funds for the orphanage children’s educational needs.  See the website for more details (www.stdorcasorphanage.co.uk) and for pictures of recent visits as well as information on the orphanage. Church members, who regularly visit the orphanage, talk to our children about their visits.
